Three Generations of Jaguar Heritage
It’s thanks to William Munger "Bill" Heynes (1903-1989) that the world was blessed with what Enzo Ferrari famously called ‘the most beautiful car ever made’. As Jaguar’s Chief Engineer and Technical Director, Bill Heynes developed the XK Engine and persuaded Sir William Lyons to enter Le Mans, resulting in five Jaguar victories, along with being responsible for the design and engineering of all Jaguar cars from 1935-1970.
Fifty years later the third generation of the family continues to uphold the original values and quality that Bill Heynes developed. Run by Bill’s grandson, William Heynes Ltd preserves and restores Jaguar E-Types to the world’s highest calibre of integrity and quality, and always to a concours standard.
“Money may not buy happiness, but I'd rather cry in a Jaguar than on a bus.”
